I have to really push myself now. Five days to get everything finished! I'm on target though, just need to devise ideas for the cover art.

So, it's time we looked at our second-to-last preview, and the first with the Dazzle! yearofthe requested Molten Crater in Spyro 3 among a couple of others, and a fresh boost on there for the final recordings gave me a good excuse to use my new equipment.

Heck, I have a real preference for the picture quality through there rather than my pixelated TV screen; I would love to play my games through there now, but I did notice though that what I would see through my TV would happen half a second later through Dazzle. Oh well.

Still, music time. Molten Crater was actually one of the tricker ones, especially since it was both seen as minimalist AND having no real distinguishing melodic progression - felt more like some kind of beat-ish underscore. I tried my best though, and that's all that matters to me - pushing my skill to the limit.

I tell you what else was pushed to the limit - recording everything I can inside the main hub of the level (you know I don't do side areas when doing previews like this) was actually tense since there was not very much to do in the space of 3 minutes or so. I wasn't expecting the track to be that little bit longer than the original though, so that didn't help either, but I'm glad everything managed to slip together through what is arguably the smallest standard level in the entire game.

Plus, for anyone wondering what happened at the end of the clip, let me tell you this: I bumrushed my way to Molten Crater before even taking a step into Sunny Villa and freeing Sheila, so that meant a lame excuse to play around with my new toys even more. ^^;

Either way, we got one preview left and that will come as the release date draws near. See you there, and thank you :D
