Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage (Reignited Trilogy) - Part 23: Gulp's Overlook
A minor mistake, but after talking to Elora about Gulp's door, I took a break. When I reloaded the game to prepare to record this video, it automatically took me back to Elora, and I accidentally had her unlock the door. After that's done with, you won't see her by it anymore whenever you reappear.

The Intro cutscene for this boss has been modified from the PS1 version, but all of its high marks are retained. In the PS1 version, Ripto prepares to feed Zoe to Gulp on one of the overlook's edges. Spyro flies in, toasts Ripto's cape, and then chases him across the ring towards his throne while complaining about his cape. He then sics Gulp to jump into the arena to fight Spyro, and offer him more fairies if he wins, all before the cutscene ends.
This time, in Reignited Trilogy, Ripto and Gulp are right in the middle of the ring. This time, Spyro torches Ripto's so hard that he flies all the way towards his throne. From there, he sics Gulp on Spyro, who is standing right behind him. The cutscene ends, and when the fight begins, THAT's when Ripto offers Gulp as many fairies as he can eat if he beats Spyro. It's one of the

I feel like this fight got a bit harder than it was in the PS1 version. If you want to dodge Gulp's body slam, you can just charge away from him in a straight line. You have to steer and curve to dodge it!
Watch out for his lightning balls! When you're moving, they don't track where you are, but where you're going to be by the time the land. You can manipulate this by simply turning around back and forth as the lightning balls are fired. Just don't get to reckless.
Same as before, your support are the Skelos Badlands' pterodactyls that Elora somehow managed to tame. They will drop eggs that hatch open weapons to use on Gulp. Flame the bombs, charge the barrels, and spit the rockets at him to do damage!
----------
Part of why I made this boss look even harder than it already is is because it has not one, but TWO Skill Points! You not only have to beat him without taking any damage, but you also have to take the time to use one of those rockets and hit Ripto with it! At first, I was trying to get both Skill Points in one sitting, but then I just got them from each other with lives.
----------
So after Gulp was vanquished, Ripto was forced off of his throne and into the abyss, never to be seen again. Spyro's Guidebook then liberates all of Autumn Plains from the red tyrant's control.
Spyro was then treated to a moment to sleep and relax thanks to Elora and the fairies, but after they left, Spyro quickly woke up afterwards to try and find Elora.
Indeed, with the help of the Talismans, Spyro the Dragon has returned Avalar to peace... or has he?
