SSDs offer faster and smoother user experience and this is one of those PC upgrades that you can really feel the difference. You can also use the faster NVME SSD if your laptop or motherboard supports it.

Most laptops does not have an extra space for a second drive. What you can do is ditch the optical/DVD drive if it has one, then get a hard disk caddy with the same dimensions as your old optical drive and put your old drive there. The caddy slots back in like an optical drive.
