It's hard to find a pet to adopt! There are not enough platforms out there and the one's that are aren't helpful! Michael van Genderen wrote an app to easily help users match the pet of their dreams to pet's in need of a new home!


Michael wrote the application using Node for the back-end along with Express for the HTTP routes and Sequelize with PostgreSQL for the persistent data storage. The front-end was built out using React for the visual components along with a Redux state store that communicated to the back-end through AJAX calls to the API routes.
