A soldier who has served in Afghanistan has taken over a top London comedy club to raise money for Help For Heroes. Grenadier Guard Seb Miles was inspired to put on a night of comedy and music by seeing the bravery of injured colleagues, and started organising it from Afghanistan. The Comedy Store sold lots of tickets for the event and hoped to raise £10,000, all of which will go towards helping troops injured on operations. Based on the success of the performance Stand Up for Heroes is likely to become an annual fundraising event.
