These cheats are supposedly triggered when the computer opponent reaches the unit limit.
Some AI tactical cheats in this game:
‣ Preview of the entire map invisible to the player. Hence, you cannot make a surprise move.
‣ Hitting from beyond the horizon (with an unreachable unit).
‣ Movement of units that does not take into account the inertia of changes in direction and overlapping of unit positions.
‣ Greater escape speed than player units.
‣ Create buildings on credit that are later repaid by collecting minerals and gas.
‣ Uneven hit counting when there is a large disparity in units even though they are not engaged in combat.
Moreover, you can guess that the opponents to attack are selected based on the amount of minerals and gas they have. Hence the characteristic attacks when the player gains resources and retreats when the value of minerals and gas decreases. And non-aggressive attacking an opponent who has a lot of resources.
