Starfield - How to Add Workbench to Ship, Research Station and More Habs Modules - Quick Guide
3Wazzup Everyone, welcome back to another guide on how to add workbench, research station and more habitat modules in starfield.
First, find a ship technician in any major city or, if you have built a landing pad with the ship builder option, that would work as well.
Choose the option “I’d like to view and modify my ships.”
Select the ship you want to modify. For this video, let’s use the Voyager 3. Click on the ship builder or press “B” on the keyboard. Now, before we start adding the workbench and everything else, we need to move some parts out of the way first. Once that’s done, press “G” on your keyboard or click on the add button to open the list of items. Use the buttons up top to browse through the available options until you find “habs.”
As you can see, there are a few different options for you to choose from, from different manufacturers. I’m going to choose the Nova Galactic All-in-One. If you use your arrow keys, you can easily browse through the options this Nova Galactic All-in-One has to offer. Let’s choose the armory first and place it on the left side of your screen, right side of the voyager 3 ship.
Then, press “G” on your keyboard again or click on the add button to choose another one. I’ve got the captain’s quarters installed. All you have to do now is keep repeating the same process until you have added all the habitab modules you want in the starfield. Once you’re done, reattach the parts you have removed earlier back to the ship. Once that’s completed, make sure to check if there are no warnings in the flight deck option. Then, press “Tab” on your keyboard to exit or click on the exit button. A new window will pop up asking you to confirm the changes. Press “Enter” on your keyboard to confirm or click on it.
