Starfield | Xbox Series S | Quick Run
4A quick look into Starfield on the Xbox Series S for trying to compare with my budget GPU on my PC.
Xbox Series S plays starfield with 30 FPS locked.
According to the developers and other outlets, the Series S runs the game at 1440P but reconstructs from 900P which is a higher value than my GTX 1650 Super benchmarks.
The Series S also seems to be using something like ~medium PC settings, can't say for sure if it is true for all settings, but it does look good enough.
The Series S seems to struggle a bit in the big cities with some small hitchings or drops below 30 FPS, although I don't consider it a big deal given the big cities it's not a place for action (I hope), although I'm expecting fixes for this in the future.
The Series S also looks superior when it comes to textures when compared with PC 4GB GPUs, given my experience with the GTX 1650 Super which fails to load the textures properly, that demonstrates that 4GB of VRAM is not enough to run Starfield with the same texture quality as the Series S.
