Stellaris is a grand strategy game set in space, but it doesn't stick to the formula. In today's preview, we discuss Disasters, Crises, and other events that can and will pop up in order to help define and embolden the late game in this Paradox Development Studio title. Want to just sit around and happily build up your blob of an empire? Too bad -- someone just came in from a Galaxy away and they put the Fallen Empires to shame.

In this video I speculate on what Disasters, Crisis Events, and Other Things could be coming in Stellaris. Here's what has been confirmed or alluded to by the development team so far:

1) Robotic Uprising due to AI Research
2) Tear in reality due to Jump Drive Research
3) Invaders from another galaxy
4) Ring World early-mid-late game disaster/story event
