Stellaris – What's in it for you? The New Diplomatic actions and options everyone will be able to do in the upcoming Stellaris 2.6 Verne Patch and how they benefit your playstyle for more success and.. fun. The magic ball says, we'll have a lot more fun as we can really bend the AI now through envoys due to the very strong (at least in the screenshots) improve relations action.
More goodness to be expected in an improved interface for more diplomatic clarity, and the clear coupling of certain diplomatic relations with actions like offering a research agreements, or only being able to form a Federation with Excellent relations.
Favors, then, give you even MORE power to influence the votes of the new Galactic Community or, instead, influence the likelihood of the AI to accept treaties. That's a nice way to shape the galaxy even more to your liking.
And then, you have the interesting stances – policies (ten years cooldown) that will make your empire an even more specialized weapon – or charming guest at a party – to increase your chances for more power, or just mess around with the AI, because messing around with the AI is just really, really fun and I really expect that's what we're going to look forward to :-)
Oh, yes, and there's improved clarity in the Diplomatic UI. What's not to like? Getting more and more optimistic.. if the 2.6 Patch will be working as intended, Stellaris will become a whole lot better. Let's all hope it will be that way :)
