The other three episodes began with an interesting premise wrapped in new game mechanics. The surprises were usually kept hidden until the last few moments of each one. This time around, the surprises start early and they just keep coming. And the story itself, which I had begun to worry was falling into the realms of cliché, took some twists and turns that I honestly didn't see coming.

Stories Untold is a compilation of four narrative-driven horror adventure games developed by No Code, and published by Devolver Digital. Each title stretches the limits of familiar genres such as point-and-click adventures or interactive fiction, and combines it with synth-wave background music inspired by science-fiction and horror soundtracks of the 1980's.
The family home, nestled perfectly amongst the trees. You're here to enjoy your holiday break surrounded by memories of your parents, your sister, and your past. Dad even mentioned having found something special for you up in the attic - your old Futuro 129k +2 gaming system! There's only one problem - you don't remember owning this game when you were a kid. "The House Abandon." Looks interesting enough, and maybe the old girl's tape-loader still works..
