Stormlord Game Sample - Genesis/MD

I hate this game. You play as a perverted old man who finds fairies and throws stuff... the fairies were originally naked. Okay, so he's not really perverted or old, but I still don't like this game very much. Decent graphics, but the game has some annoying aspects to it, namely in the gameplay department, which will usually require you to know the levels inside-out in order to even take a stab at them, but not at all in the same way as oldies like Ninja Gaiden (rather, some oversights which can make some levels impossible to complete if you screw up).
You have to save the fairies on each level and attack enemies and very carefully navigate levels. You also get the "help" of a falcon to move to different areas. Some falcon trips are one-way (you have no way of knowing) so if you haven't saved all the fairies when you move on or think you need to go further ahead to get an item needed to help but not going where you need to go, you're ****ed.
The game was released on numerous platforms, so some versions may be better than this one. It was met with a lesser-known successor called "Deliverance: Stormlord II" which basically did away with the tedious puzzle elements but didn't really get any easier. I do not advise buying this like I did and had it not had cheat codes, I doubt I would ever bother to see the end of this game. It apparently won awards at the time. That is all.
