Strain Review Sesh! || Nutcracker x Sudz Live Resin by 417CraftCannabis!
2Hello! Today we're going over Nutcracker x Sudz live resin by 417CraftCannabis!
So, to break down the lineage of the parent strains. Nutcracker is a cross of Dosidos x Project 4516 created by Lit Farms and Sudz is a cross of Lemon Haze x Dosidos created by Cresco. Potency on this live resin is fine, testing in the average range of 75-80% total Cannabinoids and 70% or so THC. As far as Terpenes go, you're looking at the classic combo of Caryophyllene, Myrcene, and Limonene, with Humulene, Nerolidol, Linalool, and Pinene in the mix among some other minor Terpenes.
The smell comes across at first as very strongly peppery and musky but as my nose adjusted it rounded out with some herbal, floral, woody, and citrus notes that all come together to give a rather soapy kind of smell. Like a musky and spiced body wash or deodorant. Think like Irish Spring. The flavor comes through at two specific points for me, the pause on the inhale and the end of the exhale and aftertaste. It has the spice and musk on the inhale with the more herbal, floral, and woody notes coming out on the exhale and blending nicely on the aftertaste.
The effects on this are fairly balanced. It has a slightly relaxing but uplifting and euphoric head high with a body high that is relaxing but not too heavy. If you're relaxing, it will enhance it but it's not going to couch lock you. At least in my experience. With the Myrcene, I do still find myself having issues at a higher dose or at night, so this was a strictly day time or at least mentally active strain, for me. It worked decent for pain relief, I did notice a few muscle spasms and nerve twitches come through a couple times but otherwise it's worked well. Worked very well to help regulate mood and anxiety at an appropriate dose. And I didn't notice any discernable effects regarding appetite. But that's one thing that can depend very heavily on the person.
