Strain Review Sesh! || Ozark Biscuit from 417 Craft Cannabis!
1Hello! Today we'll be talking about Ozark Biscuit grown by 417 Craft Cannabis and the strain itself was bred by a friend of his. Who actually doesn't have an insta or anything, so no way to tag them up.
Anyway, Ozark Biscuit is a cross of Wedding Cake x Crockett OG. Wedding Cake is fairly common but Crockett OG is actually a pretty rare strain coming from a small family farm in Oregon. As far as numbers go, I suspect a fairly decent potency. Mid to low 20s or so on THC with potential total Cannabinoids in the upper 20s to low 30s. Terpenes are also probably sitting at a decent amount. Maybe around 2%. Nothing to write home about, necessarily, but decent enough to get along with. Exact Terpenes could include Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Humulene, maybe small amounts of Limonene, and then potentially some more earthy and woody support Terpenes. And the bud structure was very airy and fluffy but a little on the dry side and absolutely covered in trichs. And personally, I do prefer my nugs to be a little more dense. But that could just be a strain specific feature.
The smell comes across as pretty earthy, creamy, and peppery. It definitely has a cakey flavor profile with some spiced or peppery notes. A fairly typical kind of Cannabis flavor. Again, acceptable for sure, just not something that blows me out of the water in any way.
The effects are definitely "Indica," or sedative leaning. It starts with a rather heavy euphoric rush with a lighter but present, relaxing body high. This initial euphoric rush can offer a mood boost and positive mental health effects as it's relaxing but quite intense. Once the initial rush kind of settles down, I notice the relaxing and more sedative qualities. Particularly the more relaxing physical effects warm in and the intense euphoria subsides to allow for a fairly calm relaxation. Potentially useful for some as a sleep aid. Along with this, I also found this strain to work quite well for pain relief. Took care of everything just fine, for the most part. Did have a few muscle spasms break through, but sometimes nothing really stops those. So they very well could have been unstoppable.
