136YouTuber's Life 3 - Stream Together! continues and also concludes, for which I do apologise, but I'll admit right now that I'm just not feeling it.
We do give it a good go in this second part! We go it alone, moving into a new apartment, buying equipment and doing our own videos. We learn how to edit, which is a somewhat confusing experience, and we even get to buy a lovely plant for the desk, but we get the feeling that things just aren't right.
Like the persistent time. The in-game time is the same as the real world time, which doesn't make any sense. Using that logic we can record, edit and publish hundreds of videos per day, which just doesn't work! Plus calendar events happen on specific days, so if we're not able to play on the day then we can't attend. Oh and it also makes a mockery of any in-game food because to get our energy back we can just take a nap for a few seconds.
Then we discover that we've received a copyright strike on our first video so we can't make any money from them. No money from all the effort we're putting in, which means it's much more lucrative to just do random jobs for people and hope that works!
Oh and then we have another go at the stream battle thing, where we're once again soundly beaten into last place by some overpowered cards and bullying tactics. Fun times.
So it's got promise, yes, and the graphics are wonderful, but it just doesn't work for me I'm afraid.
