Streamlabs Merch Review - Is The Quality Worth $51?
194Is the Streamlabs Merch Store worth it? What's the quality of Streamlab's Merch? Should you order or sell merch using Streamlabs?
All these questions will be answered in this video where I purchased my own Levaslier merch off my Streamlabs merch store.
I set up the store a few months ago for my web series, Levaslier. I decided to order 2 t-shirts, 1 for myself, and 1 for the other staff members of TeamWnJ, in order to test the quality of Streamlab's merch before I officially launched the store.
The products took 1 month to ship with default shipping and cost a total of $51. The artwork on the Tshirts themselves was created by me and was in the recommended resolution and 300dpi- CMYK color format.
Shockingly, from the 2 shirts that I got- the white shirt has a drastic quality advantage for the artwork print in comparison to the black shirt.
The black shirt has some very plasticky print that feels like it could peel right off the shirt if put under enough stress, while the white shirt feels like the print is actually in the fabric. This is strange considering the shirts are exactly the same and cost exactly the same- they also both use the same ink.
The material of the shirts themselves are very light and thin, fitting for a Tshirt intended to be worn during summer or warm days. Both shirts were ordered in small size and were a bit long for me, but they weren't too loose or too tight. I feel that a bigger person may find the fit to be perfect as the material is able to stretch to extenuate one's figure.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the white shirt but am disappointed by the poor quality of print on the black shirt. Were these two shirts worth $51? I don't think so. Default shipping costs just as much as the two shirts combined, effectively doubling the cost- you would expect $25 shipping to arrive relatively quickly as well, but 1 month was quite the wait.
I am very grateful to Streamlabs for allowing small creators like myself to set up Merch stores and am overall quite happy with what I recieved.
