Street Fighter EX2 Plus (PlayStation Attract Intro)
Considering that this was created through Sony hardware, this looks graphically good...even the PlayStation port!
Street Fighter EX2 Plus was released in the arcades in June 1999 but received a PS1 port in December of that year in Japan and in 2000 for the West. Character wise, Darun, Pullum and M.Buffalo...whoops, I meant M.Bison returned back for EX2 Plus along the debutants in Area, Vulcano Rosso and Sagat for the console release.
Meteor Combos was added in favour for Level 3 Super Combos and the excel combo was refined for the PlayStation. Along with that, the modes for the PS1 featured Arcade, Versus, Practice and the 'Director' mode which allows the player record their fight and make camera changes but...if you save it....it takes up 5 blocks of your memory card! Also, you have 'Bonus Game' mode where you have 'the satellite smashing' game amongst others such was the barrel smash and others you have to unlock through 'certain conditions'!
Coming from a person who played the Japan and US versions (and owns them), Street Fighter EX2 Plus still has it's fans and loyalists. However, not many people recognize this one as a good Street Fighter game. Honestly, the Arika-developed games were always enjoyable to play but you can't please everybody! If you do get the chance, have a go at it and make your mind up!
Honest note: Much like EX Plus Alpha, this was supposed to be recorded through the PS3 but due to 'a system update', I couldn't record it through 1080p. However, 'a workaround' was done as this was recorded through the POPStarter method on a softmodded PS2. Man, that was a long one....pulling that tactic off!
Hope that you enjoy the video and stay tuned for more EX2 Plus!
