I think we need a different fighting game around here...don't you think!?

Dead or Alive 2 was released in the arcades in the fall of 1999 with a Dreamcast port shortly thereafter in February 2000. As for the 'Hardcore' version which was on the PlayStation 2 came out in October 2000 in the West first with a Japanese release a month later.

This version came about due to Team Ninja being 'not happy' with the current version so they came up with a enhanced version which was based on the limited edition update for the Dreamcast. Many additions was added such as new playable characters, new stages, extra costumes, a Gallery mode and English voiceovers!

Strange but true, this was my first game for the PS2 and I actually played the hell out of it...even more than EX3 and that's saying something! Still get a kick out of it and 20 years later, still enjoy it....bar the visual look!

Note: This is the Japanese Hard*Core intro as the Western version had a similar intro but was slightly different...here and there!

Hope that you enjoy the video and stay tuned for more of Dead or Alive!
