Part 3 of my Strider NES walkthrough, where Hiryu makes a return trip to Kazakh to rescue Kain, and checks in with the boss in Japan.\n\nCommentary below:\n\n0:15 - You come here a lot. Get used to it.\n0:21 - I decide to show off the Fire Trick. It shoots a ball of fire out, and costs 5 Enegry a use. Notice that once I'm out of energy, I just kind of do nothing with my sword. To "shut it off" you go back into the menu and select "Trick"...this cancels all your powers.\n1:00 - Falling down here means going back to try again.\n2:34 - A pretty easy boss. Jump over him and hit him from behind, then get ready to do it again when he turns around. \n2:56 - Looks like Kain ditched the pink look. Bring him back to base? Uh...you do realize the guys there want him dead, right?\n3:04 - Another data disk. This time, we don't have to walk out, we get a convienent teleport.\n3:30 - He's out cold, he's been chained up, but he had time to create a floppy with valuable info. Sure. \n3:46 - "Succeeded"?\n4:15 - Ooo. Something's up, if Matic doesn't want you here. Samurai guy here isn't too tough if you have room to move around. Hit him, then back away when he raises his sword. He'll miss and retreat. Repeat. If he fires a wave of plasma at you, just duck it. Also a good place to try the Fire trick out.\n4:43 - This guy show up all over the place, and I don't know his name, but he appears to be a doctor and likes to hold up the scrolling of the screen while he's loading in, so I'll call him Dr. Screenfreeze. Now I can shoot plasma out of my cipher if I hold it up for a few seconds, an ability that would be far more use useful if more enemies let you stand still for 5 seconds to charge it up. Watch as I try and use it on the bats, because you won't be seeing much more of it.\n5:09 - New trick! Medical, which heals 20 health in exchange for 10 energy. Useful.\n5:34 - Apparently the chief has little to say, but does have another data disk. Okay. Oh, yeah, you see the ziptube there? Nothing's over there.\n6:09 - Look's like we're heading to...what the hell?\n6:20 - Kain here looks like an escaped mental paitent...which I suppose he is right now. Anyways, jump over him and hit him from behind once to put him down. Don't stand in front of him, he'll cut you up good. Enjoy the melodrama.\n6:50 - The world is struck with horror!!! Wait, how did the world find out?
