There are absolutely great media produced by people from foreign nations, but some people's mindsets are clearly not built well enough to appreciate them.

"The whole entire show is in Hawaiian native language! You have to read the whole thing in subtitles. So stupid."

Oh no. We have to read the bottom portions of a screen to understand the story. The horror. Do you want somebody to read it for you while you sleep?

"What morons make a show for an American audience and put it in a completely foreign language?"

Was it really made for an American audience? You really have to think about that for a second.

"If I wanted to read, it would be a book."

That implies that you do read books.

"Can you name ten books?"

"The virtue signaling in here is comical."

There's no virtue signaling. You just made a really dumb take.

"If the show doesn't have an audience, it gets cancelled."

This also applies to shows that do not need subs.

"You read books. You watch movies. You don't read movies."

No, you don't read the movies, dumbass. You read the subtitles. There's a huge difference between movies and subtitles. I too can be just as pedantic.

"The show had potential to be highly successful if it was created in the language of its audience."

Well, I guess we should chalk all those anime and foreign shows as non-successful, right?

"Anime is for weirdos and sickos with strange fetishes."

Well, that's your opinion. That doesn't negate the fact that the media can be entirely on subs and still be successful... the first season at least.

"People saying I can't read. Don't be silly. This is what I'm reading now. Y'all should read it."

Yeah, it looks like you have too much political brain rot to recommend books about "The Death of Liberalism."
