495This review and critique of the original Assassin's Creed trilogy details the progression in narrative and gameplay from the first Assassin's Creed game to the third. The focus is on subverting the consensus regarding the games, largely focusing on the narrative, with discussion on gameplay being woven in virtue of its relation to the gameplay. The Assassin's Creed series started in a much more interesting way than we give it credit for. It skips Brotherhood and Revelation, because they're part of a spin-off sequel in combination with Assassin's Creed II.
