The good news is that I am upping my tech level for next time. I finally sorted out how to do clay bulkheads and nozzles, I am going to do larger diameter rockets so I can do a proper core, and I am realizing that my rocket walls are not really thick enough. The core is the hole through the middle that allows the entire length of the rocket to burn at the same time: otherwise, as we saw with one of these rockets, if it ignites it is just going to burn through the exposed paper tube.

Live and learn.

I didn't bother trying to re-fuse any of these because I knew that I was going to get my new 1/2 inch dowels in and I wanted to make a fresh start with those larger diameter rockets.
