3I have a new submarine, it costs around 100K and uses more energy than the Northeastern US. It is also... not so great against torpedoes. Unlike the Dorys, the PACsub is not maximized for stealth but for armor and to be big enough to carry 3 big fuel engines and batteries to power its particle cannon. It has anti-torpedo torpedoes and decoys, but these often don't get the job done. So if an enemy really barrages torpedoes, that can be a problem.
The Ugly Navy continues to expand, and with that expansion there will be new enemy ships to encounter. And one thing will remain certain: the little stone Dorys will continue to be my unlikely heroes.
I LOVE the Dorys!
(Expensive is very relative to me. For many players, a ship that costs a million resources and above is expensive. For me, 100k and above is expensive. I like to do it on the cheap. ;) Easier on my aging computer too.)
