I struggled so hard to finally get this 2-ALL!
Thank goodness DoujinStyle saved this game on their website.

Sumikkou is a doujin shmup by Sumikko-soft in 2008.
The game is an obvious parody to Toaplan`s Tatsujin Oh for mimicking the weapon types and mechanics, except the checkpoint system (thank god).
It has 3 stages in 2 loops.
Scoring is really simple, damage enemies for points before killing them and clear the stage with the remaining resources.
In this game, the items represent each function:
-Strawberry: Napalm explosion.
-Purple grapes: Lock-on lightning.
-Green apple: Wide shot.
-Orange: Speed up.
-Sumikko coin: Extra bomb.
The hitbox is somehow located in Sumikko`s hair, and it`s quite BIG. Some dodges can`t be done properly, and it can result in a death if not careful.

I did No-Miss the 1st loop. For 2nd loop, I just died 3 times.
Still fun tho.
I even laughed my ass off when I noticed references of Phelios and Street Fighter II.
