Touhou: Blue Devil in the Belvedere - 1CC Easy Marisa - ALL clear
1st clear on Blue Devil in the Belvedere!
Yet another amazing Touhou fangame! I will keep digging on more Touhou fangames!
Blue Devil in the Belvedere is a fanmade Touhou shmup by Team Elegant Impermanence of Sakura, who previously developed Elegant Impermanece of Sakura.
Unlike their previous game, this game has a unique mechanic, which is stone collecting. Stones known as bloodgems appear from killing big enemies, and they have 2 value types which are bloogem fragments (1,2,3) and full bloodgems (6). Collecting them will add a piece to the stone meter known as the blood souls, and when 6 bloodgem fragments are collected, a blood soul stone will be formed. When completing 4 blood soul stones, the Power Overwhelming will be ready.
Power Overwhelming is the game´s Hyper system in which enhances the weapon power, makes enemies more agressive and can attract items without the need of the item get border line. Not only it enhances shot power, but also grants protection at the cost of spending 1 spell bomb. If you get hit while the Power Overwhelming is available, it will automatically activate at the cost of spending 2 spell bombs. If you activate Power Overwhelming during a boss spell card attack, you´ll lose the chance to capture a spell card bonus.
From what I analyzed, the Power Rank is the game´s rank system that adjusts the agressiveness of the enemy patterns. Power Rank has a gauge that when it fills up completely, rank will increase by 1 level and bullet cancelling will occur.
Marisa is a character that has great shot power, but speedkilling some boss phases requires some advanced maneuvers.
