This is a re-upload from my previous channel, covering a playthrough of the PC demo-version of Volition's Summoner, itself having been released for PS2 consoles in 2000, and subsequently ported to Windows a year later.

In this version, only Joseph and Flece are included as playable characters, and the demo features a total of three maps; covering the forest (random encounter), the Slums District in the city of Masad, and sewers beneath the city.

Additionally, at this point, Joseph has already acquired his summoning powers, and is capable of generating three types of monsters to aid and abet in his quest.

While the NPC's within the Slums district offer a variety of exposition and precursors to certain objectives, only three quests can actually be completed during the course of the demo.

The first quest involves securing the location and release of an Orenian resident of Massad who has been confined to the prison for his own safety.

The second quest involves acquiring a bounty on Bacites, which are roaming the sewers unchecked.

The third quest is concerned with recovering a certain "blessed doll", which an armorer requires in order to alleviate an ailment which has befallen his daughter. The successful completion of this quest awards the player with a "high quality knife", and prompts the closure of the demo itself.
