Granted, the 1984 television offshoot of an excellent 1983 motion picture turned out to be a relatively lackluster affair, which was summarily cancelled after less than half-a-season.

The context of this particular television show definitely constitutes an odd parring with the 1966 motion picture classic, but when faced with two aviation-related entities with "Blue" in their title, I just couldn't resist.

Unfortunately, I was not able to filter out many of the sound effects presented during the original Blue Thunder opening credits sequence (as I've not been able to find any stand-alone recordings of Frank Denson's opening theme), and thus the distinctive roar of the Gazelle's engine and the firing of the copter's 20mm cannon overlap frequent portions of the video.
