Super Castlevania 4! They Made The Whip Too Cracked - SNES
2I had to add another great Castlevania game to our list. Some fantastic-looking levels with a lot of detail, they're pretty long too. The whip got a massive upgrade, allowing you to attack in any direction, swing, and even dangle to easily deflect projectiles. The music starts off great but mostly feels like mellow tunes, which isn't for everyone. Since you have so much mobility, the game isn't as challenging, but it still has the occasional difficulty spikes. The final boss definitely should have been amplified. The fight seems way too short and easy, considering how long it takes to get there. There are a lot of small secrets scattered across the stages, but I feel like you're so powerful in this game that you don't really care to stop and check for them. It's still a great Castlevania, especially if you're new to the series.
