I didn't have time yesterday to make a trailer for 5.2, and it's kind of a good thing I didn't, because I found a few little bugs to fix. Anyways, 5.2 brings a lot of major overhauls:
1. Easy/Normal/Hard layouts for every level in the game. As you can imagine, making three different difficulty layouts for every level and boss is super time consuming, which is why there hasn't been a demo release since January.
2. You can also adjust your heart settings. You can change the amount of hearts you start the level (and each retry) with, and you can also set the maximum amount of hearts you can carry. You can either make the game stupid easy for yourself by giving yourself 99 hearts, or you can set both to 0 to disable hearts entirely, if you're a sadist.
3. Controls have been entirely redone, thanks to the excellent Input library for Game Maker Studio 2: https://jujuadams.itch.io/input. Proper compatibility with every gamepad under the sun (yes, even that one), and a nice new remapping menu that you can even access from the pause menu!
4. Conveyor Castle, the first level of Castle Kranion (the final world) has been made available. You'll get the rest of the game soon enough!
Now, if you already downloaded 5.2 yesterday, 5.2.1 fixes a few minor bugs, especially with the world map in multiplayer. You probably want to redownload.
