Dino is the pre-final boss, fought in his own level right before Kranion. If you also think it's weird that I did Kranion's fight first, yeah, I agree. I think I just had a sudden burst of energy ready to do Kranion's fight, and I'm glad I got it over with as it's easily the fanciest of the final bosses.
Dino's fight...is not fancy. This is intentional, Dino is kind of a comic relief character so it's fun to have a little breather fight between the very difficult Castle Kranion levels and Kranion's fight, which is probably the hardest boss. The fight isn't done yet though. It needs a goofy "joke" first phase (I know exactly what I'm doing for this), and an actual death animation.
This fight is also noticeably affected by difficulty levels; the amount of lightsabers spinning around Dino's ship increases per difficulty level. On easy there's only one, there's two on normal, and there's four on hard.
