Whenever I do some videos on Super Mario Bros. 35, I start off with 35-Player Battle and try to complete as many Daily Challenges as possible, and there are some where you have to place in the top 15 about 5 times, so I complete the offscreen.
This week's event is very unforgiving when it comes to the levels, enemies, and power-ups, and you start with 35 coins, because Worlds 5-1 to 6-4 in that order appear, and those courses are harder than the earlier levels. 5-1 is the first course to introduce Bullet Bills and Turtle Cannons, and for some reason, Super Mario Wiki refers to them as Turtle Cannons, and later games call them Bill Blasters.
World 5-3 is a copy of 1-3, the difference is the lifts are smaller and Bullet Bills appear, and 5-4 is harder than 2-4 as it has more Fire Bars and Lava Bubbles, and this is another enemy that has different names, Lava Bubbles are also known as Podoboos, and some sources just call them Bubbles, and 6-1 is a nightmare, basically any level that has Lakitu in them is a nightmare, and 6-4 is a copy of 1-4, the difference is the extra Fire Bars and Lava Bubbles, and Bowser will be throwing hammers, making him even harder without a Fire Flower or Super Star. They sure increased the difficulty level for this Special Battle Event, well it's just the courses are more difficult and the fact you start with 35 coins and power-ups are a bit limited in most courses does make this event very unforgiving, I am sure there are players that get eliminated very early, as it is more common than in earlier levels.
