Pokémon Sword & Shield has been out for a year, and we did just recently get the Crown Tundra DLC almost a month ago, so from my list, I get a Pokémon that was recently added into the Crown Tundra update, and that Pokémon is Amaura, the Rock/Ice-type Fossil Pokémon introduced in Gen 6.
It did surprise me to see wild Fossil Pokémon in the Crown Tundra, and they included every Fossil Pokémon except for Gen 4, and I have seen speculation on a Diamond & Pearl remake that could happen next year, but it isn't confirmed yet.
Like with my previous Surprise Trades, I breed for 31 IVs in at least 4 or 5 stats, and some Egg Moves, and I went with Modest for Amaura, some have Snow Warning, and some have Regenerator, both have viability, even though its type is terrible defensively.
For moves, these Amaura have Aurora Veil, Mirror Coat, Discharge, and Haze, it does get Take Down and Rock Throw, but those aren't worth the time. I will list which parents in the Monster Egg Group that can learn those moves.
Aurora Veil: Abomasnow
Discharge: Heliolisk
Haze: Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise (Requires Chain Breeding)
Mirror Coat: Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, Mudkip, Marshtomp, Swampert, Bergmite, Avalugg (Requires Chain Breeding)
Rock Throw: Larvitar, Pupitar, Tyranitar, Mudkip, Marshtomp, Swampert
Take Down: Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Rhyhorn, Rhydon, Mudkip, Marshtomp, Swampert, Aron, Lairon, Aggron, Gible, Gabite, Garchomp, Rhyperior, Bergmite, Avalugg

Two moves Amaura can learn through Chain Breeding, and a bit of trivia, Amaura could not learn Aurora Veil in Gen 7, despite the evolution line being based around auroras.
To evolve Amaura into Aurorus, it needs to level up at night once starting at Level 39, and for moves, it can get Ancient Power, Encore, Icy Wind, Thunder Wave, Round, Aurora Beam, Nature Power, Freeze-Dry, Ice Beam, Light Screen, Hail, Blizzard, and Hyper Beam.
Then for its TM and TR movepool, for TMs, it can get Reflect, Rock Slide, Weather Ball, Icicle Spear, Rock Tomb, Rock Blast, Mud Shot, Avalanche, and Bulldoze, and for TRs, it can learn Body Slam, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Earthquake, Psychic, Outrage, Hyper Voice, Iron Defense, Calm Mind, Dark Pulse, Earth Power, Flash Cannon, Stealth Rock, and Stone Edge, and it can learn Meteor Beam as a Tutor move.
For competitive battling, Aurorus has possibly the worse defensive type combination of all Pokémon, it is 4x weak to Fighting and Steel, and it is another victim of Gigantamax Copperajah's G-Max Steelsurge, Stealth Rock, and Spikes on the field, along with Alolan Ninetales and Frosmoth, because they will faint the moment they are sent into battle at full health, unless equipped with Heavy-Duty Boots. However, Aurorus isn't without any positives, it is one of few Pokémon to get Snow Warning and access to Aurora Veil, which is nice for team support, but it can tricky to pull off with its 4x weakness to Fighting, which is kind of a common attacking type, most Aurorus sets use a Focus Sash to ensure survival to a powerful attack from Urshifu or Metagross.
The Amaura line are the only Pokémon to get Refrigerate for their Ability, this will make their Normal-type moves become Ice-type moves and gain a 20% boost, and Aurorus can use Hyper Voice to full effect, for a full offensive set, it can use Earth Power, Thunderbolt, and Freeze-Dry to cover many types, while Hyper Voice or Blizzard fill in depending on Aurorus's Ability. The downside to Aurorus with Snow Warning is that Alolan Ninetales is faster and can set up Aurora Veil easier, and Vanilluxe does not have to worry about having any 4x weaknesses.
In Double Battles, Aurorus is really tough to pull off, since both Alolan Ninetales and Vanilluxe have seen good usage in terms of Hail setup, so Aurorus will need support from its teammates, a Pokémon with Follow Me, like Togekiss, Indeedee, or Eviolite Clefairy fill in that role so Aurorus can set up an Aurora Veil, but it is outclassed by Gigantamax Lapras for that role, as Lapras can use G-Max Resonance to set up Aurora Veil, and it has better bulk than Aurorus. Another good teammate is a Pokémon with Tailwind, like Whimsicott, Tornadus, or Suicune, as they can give Aurorus the speed it needs to do well in battle.
Alternatively, Aurorus can use a Power Herb and Meteor Beam to full effect, but that is if it can be able to do it, as Aurorus has a lot of weaknesses, and most of which are common attacking types. While it is not a bad Pokémon, its typing leaves much to be desired in the competitive scene, as Aurorus has the worse typing defensively, Ice is already a bad defensive type, and Rock-type, despite being known for their solid Defense, are hindered by being weak to common types, so putting these two types together gives us the worse defensive type combo.
