Part 2: Melancholy in the mines

World 2 is a series of cavern levels, i remember some of these at least, but let's see if they were good or not

W2-1 Turtle Valley
A grassy level with a lot, and i mean A LOT of Koopas, not much to say, i like this level, it reminds me to simplier days of the hacking scene
W2-2 Forest Funland
Another good level, and with music of Seiken Densetsu 3, im a sucker for that music but you alreadyy knew that so anyway, back to the level. Yet again another of those rare levels that gives me vibes of the early hacking scene, making use of the Sumo brothers and the Yoshi wings. good level
W2-3 Shell of a good Time
The concept of this level is good, being the main focus the green shell bros combined with the Carrot lifts and later in the level, with sparkys, the last YC jump is evil but i like it
W2-4 Dyatlov Pass
The name of the level is a reference to a mysterious irl thing. Anywyay, the level is good and innofensive, i like the layer 3 section the most
W2-5 Underground Lavastream
A standard cavern level, old school at that, no fancyy gimmicks or anything, just pure bare bones platforming
W2-6 DUMB CAVE
This level is interesting for the most part, a series of caverns interconected hidding secrets and with these flying condoms from Yoshi's Island, one of the secrets are tricky, being the koopa shell in the near last section, other than that, very good level
W2-7 Clap for the Fire
I can tell this was the first level of someone just byy looking at that green FG, how do i know that? because it happened to me when i started in this world of rom hacking. the level is a slow ride in a skull raft but it services so eh, just ok
W2-8 i want to smell yoshi eggs haha
Level name referencing a copypasta of some dude, search it yourself. Level is clever with the use of the yoshi egg and well put obstacles in your way to the exit, very good level
W2-9 DESERT OF ATHELETIC
Out of the caves and back to the surface, using beans to avoid pits, cats and more,another good level overall
W2-Castle Hothead Hop
you can now guess what this title is referencing, i'll wait. Second castle, focusing on sparkies, lava and castle enemies HAHAAAAAAAAAA. I love the color palette for the level, yellow FG and blue BG, but the use of the spikes huh, idk, that's the only thing bugging me, and i definitively love those 2 pikes that fell in my head with no warning whatsoever, it was just fine
W2-Swicth Palace GACHI
A long switch palace, precursor of the "Leather club" in v2 i assume, this one got my ass handed to me, i was overcomplicating thing, the controller unplugging constantly as i said in the Part 1, but it was a good challenge nonetheless i love it
