2This fortress is an underwater area with Fishbones and spiked balls on chains. Some spikes in the ceiling are rusty and will fall if you get close enough. In addition, a Bony Beetle will hide in its shell, generating spikes, so only stomp it when its spikes are not around. The first Yoshi Coin is under a set of rusted spikes where a Dry Bones throws bones. Enter the pipe to the next room and turn left to find the 2nd Yoshi Coin in an opening where a Thwomp plummets. Continue turning left and you’ll find the 3rd Yoshi Coin by the other pipe. Swim to the upper floor where a trail of coins are and spiked balls on chains spin. You’ll find the 4th Yoshi Coin while navigating the path. The 5th Yoshi Coin is by a duo of spiked balls on chains and where Fishbones come by. Pass one last Bony Beetle and enter the red door to battle against Nothorton. When Nothorton throws a shell, pick up the shell and throw it back. Nothorton will also release smaller units and fireballs by moving at a faster speed. Hit Nothorton with shells 3 times and you’ll complete the stage.
