Super Metroid Redesign: Axeil Edition 100% Part 2/12 Charge Beam, Varia Suit, Ice Beam, & Power Bomb
15Now traversing from Brinstar to Norfair. HELL'S RUN IS OPTIONAL, but I haven't tried it and I'm probably not going to.
MAJOR POWERUPS:
00:46 Charge Beam - Go back to where you seen the first green hatch. Go down then go right to the next green hatch. DON'T GO LEFT! A giant hopper is waiting to ambush you.
21:19 Varia Suit - Its waiting after beating Kraid. Get it while its still hot.
26:50 Ice Beam - Make your way up with a missile ready for the gate. Your icy award is inside the hatch.
36:05 Power Bomb - Instantly earned after slaying Crocomire.
Missile Tanks:
2:52 When you enter this area go down then head left. A missile is waiting behind the hatch.
3:15 - 3:43 There is a morph ball maze to the right after collecting the missile from the left. Bomb your way carefully while taking on those small hoppers.
5:49 There is a hidden tunnel is on the left (the one that looks like red triangular rails) morph into it and it leads to the tank. Be sure to shoot the red block after collecting it for a shortcut later on.
7:04 A hidden tunnel with a missile tank. Nothing special.
11:39 A hidden tunnel to the right before going up the hatch. Shoot the block out of the way and follow your way through. You'll find a powerup platform with no tank on it. Shoot the bottom left of the blocks to find it.
12:34 Simple enough. Shoot the red hatch to get it.
13:15 - 14:49 Make your way through the morph ball maze. Infinite Bomb Jump your way through. Beware of crumble blocks. If this is too difficult, come back with Spring Ball.
25:05 Hidden in the lava lake. Get it while its still hot. ;)
32:00 Go through the tunnel to get it. After collecting it, immediately head back so the lava rising won't sap your energy.
Super Missile Tanks:
1:53 Back where you first enter Brinstar there is a Super Missile to the top left. Shoot the super missile block out of the way and get it.
7:24 Sitting there waiting after going through the green hatch earlier.
33:34 Ah a classic design from the NES Metroid! Freeze one of the enemies as a platform then jump up and morph through the tight space to get it.
Energy Tanks:
8:06 There's one behind the Recharge station. Shoot the super missile block to reveal it.
