Super Pixel Racers (2019) - Every PC Rally Game

This game ought to have been fun; a retro-style top-down rally racer, recognisable cars, varied locations/modes (rallycross and various battle modes, in addition to a procedurally-generated rally), a 1980s vibe... but it's really not good.
The main issue stems from the controls; there are two methods (point thumbstick in direction to go or steer left/right) but the former is painful to use and the latter often loses track of whether you're turning left or right, seeing your car go completely the wrong way sometimes. It's even less controllable if you use keyboard!
The control issues are compounded by the fact that your car constantly accelerates, with only a handbrake/drift button to slow down and skid (too late, usually). There's a nitro that makes things even less controllable too... so expect to bounce off a lot of scenery.
The 1980s style blippy soundtrack is okay, but I turned it off here, so you can hear that the cars sound... all the same :-p a Mini sounds like a Lamborghini!
Overall I didn't have fun making this video and don't recommend this game :-(
