The next character I use for All-Star Mode is King Dedede, and he works very well with the increased damage modifier in All-Star Mode, because while you do deal increased damage to your opponents, King Dedede's forward smash has great launching power, to the point you can even KO opponents at around 50% damage, and you do take less damage and knockback from your opponent's attacks, which works well with King Dedede being a heavyweight character, but you do have to watch out for stage hazards.
As with King Dedede's Alt. Trophies, the 3DS version uses his classic appearance, which is his 6th alternate costume, and the Wii U uses his 2nd alternate costume, that is the pink costume.
I will go over All-Star Mode and which characters you fight against.
Round 1 (2015-2007): Corrin, Greninja, Lucina, Robin, Dark Pit, Shulk, Bayonetta, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina & Luma
Round 2 (2006-2001): Lucario, Lucas, Ike, Zero Suit Samus, Toon Link, Bowser Jr., Roy, Olimar, Villager
Round 3 (1998-1994): Ganondorf, Sheik, Cloud, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Diddy Kong, Ness
Round 4 (1993-1991): Meta Knight, Falco, Fox, Wario, King Dedede, Kirby, Sonic
Round 5 (1990-1986): Captain Falcon, Yoshi, Dr. Mario, Marth, Mega Man, Ryu, Palutena, Pit
Round 6 (1986-1984): Samus, Zelda, Link, Bowser, Peach, R.O.B., Duck Hunt Duo
Round 7 (1984-1980): Little Mac, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Mario, Pac-Man, Mr. Game & Watch

Like I went over with Kirby in the previous part, King Dedede also made his debut in Kirby's Dream Land, and the Kirby series is one of few where all characters that are playable in that game appear in one round, in this case, 1993-1991 is where you fight King Dedede and other characters that made their debut that year. For stages, in the 3DS version, the stages are Dream Land, Corneria, WarioWare, Inc., Green Hill Zone, and Dream Land (64), and in the Wii U version, the stages are Halberd, Orbital Gate Assault, Lylat Cruise, Gamer, Windy Hill Zone, and Dream Land (64).
King Dedede's Final Smash in this game is Dedede Burst, and this is the only game in the series where he uses it, and in his Final Smash Trophy, a bomb is seen coming out of his hammer and both Luigi and Mario are caught in the Final Smash, well Mario has fallen back, while Luigi is trying to run from it.
