The next character I use for All-Star Mode is Mr. Game & Watch, and ever since Melee, Mr. Game & Watch remains as one of the oldest, that is by video game debut, as the Game & Watch was released in 1980. As with Mr. Game & Watch's Alt. Trophies, in the 3DS version, it uses his white alternate costume, that is his 8th alternate costume, while the Wii U version uses his 7th alternate costume, the green costume.
In All-Star Mode, you deal more damage against opponents, so unless you get really lucky with getting a 9 with Judge, the best Mr. Game & Watch has for KO options are some of his smash attacks, and while you do take less knockback and damage from your opponents attacks, for a lightweight character like Mr. Game & Watch, he has to watch our for stage hazards, as they deal regular knockback, meaning that if he is not careful, stage hazards can KO him.
I will go over All-Star Mode and which characters you fight against.
Round 1 (2015-2007): Corrin, Greninja, Lucina, Robin, Dark Pit, Shulk, Bayonetta, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina & Luma
Round 2 (2006-2001): Lucario, Lucas, Ike, Zero Suit Samus, Toon Link, Bowser Jr., Roy, Olimar, Villager
Round 3 (1998-1994): Ganondorf, Sheik, Cloud, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Diddy Kong, Ness
Round 4 (1993-1991): Meta Knight, Falco, Fox, Wario, King Dedede, Kirby, Sonic
Round 5 (1990-1986): Captain Falcon, Yoshi, Dr. Mario, Marth, Mega Man, Ryu, Palutena, Pit
Round 6 (1986-1984): Samus, Zelda, Link, Bowser, Peach, R.O.B., Duck Hunt Duo
Round 7 (1984-1980): Little Mac, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Mario, Pac-Man, Mr. Game & Watch

Mr. Game & Watch has two different stages for each version, Flat Zone 2 in the 3DS version, and Flat Zone X in the Wii U version, which is basically Flat Zone 2, but combined with the original Flat Zone from Melee, in the 3DS version, he is one of the first opponents you fight against, along with other characters that debuted in 1980-1984, and the other two stages that can appear are Jungle Japes and Boxing Ring, while in the Wii U version, Luigi's Mansion, Delfino Plaza, or Pac-Land can appear, and Mr. Game & Watch is one of the last characters to appear.
For the Final Smash Trophy, Mr. Game & Watch is seen using Octopus against King Dedede and Duck Hunt Duo, and while the Final Smash does last for 15 seconds and you can press the attack button to control the tentacles, I do find prefer Mr. Game & Watch's Final Smash in this game than in Ultimate where he charges at opponents and then transforms back.
