Prologue: Go Wayback! is the first of three games that lay the foundation for our studio's ultimate vision: Project Artemis. A platform for dynamic, massively multiplayer sandboxes where millions of players can create their own worlds and emergent stories.
Go Wayback! represents our ongoing research into machine learning models that allow our developers to quickly generate large, realistic environments in Unreal Engine 5 for players to explore.

In Prologue: Go Wayback!, no two journeys are the same.
Every time you start the game, a new 64 km² world is generated on your PC. Our machine learning technology enables our artists and designers to create a system that lets you generate billions of beautiful natural worlds waiting to be explored.
Chart your own course across the rugged terrain toward the distant Meteorological Tower. How you get there and whether you survive is entirely up to you.
Embark on an adventure to overcome nature.
Dynamic weather and the time of day influence your every decision.
Rain can soak clothes and extinguish campfires. Thunderstorms can wreak havoc on the terrain. Blizzards bring snow and the danger of hypothermia.
Forage for edible food, seek sources of clean water, and plot your path from one shelter to another.
Your choices, your world, your story.
No guides. No indicators to tell you where to go. Only your instincts, your tools, and your decisions.
You'll need to read your map, use your compass, keep an eye on the sky, and adapt to the terrain and weather if you want to survive.
Will you stay in the valleys seeking shelter? Or will you climb the ridges to reach the Meteorological Tower with a clear view? Will you face the night storm or take shelter and wait for it to pass?
