Syberia 3 playthrough part 18 Crossing the bridge.
1At the start I explored my caravan and took some items from my box. The lighter and kitchen knife. I visited Ayawaska who was noticeably stoned. Exploring this new are I found that the bridge was not up for the Youkols to cross.
I then explored close by and found a type of large oven (04:00). I found one of my first items in the oven, which looked like a piece of quarter pounder burger, but was actually a "quarter part of yellow resin". I then found another quarter part of yellow resin and a blue one. Around the back of the oven I found funnel 01 in the chimneys. Back round the front again in the cupboard section I found a round chunk of blue resin, and quarter of red resin and funnels 01, 03, and 04. I could also take some wood, and I used it straight away in the centre of the oven. I put the funnels in the chimneys but I was not sure if it was the right order.
I then spoke with Kurk who explained the situation. I now had to find a way to get across the bridge.
First Kate Walker was going to try get across on her own and speak with the watcher.
I tried to get in the customs office, but he told me to speak with him at the counter. He was asking for appropriate documents for the Youkols. Kate offered the bribe from the Youkols. He was happy to let me cross, but he had never operated the bridge before. I had a look around the back and down the ladders. I found cart/zip line for transporting items across the border. Further down I found the lever for activating the bridges. I went back up and spoke with the officer who told me I can cross. I walked half way and he then operated the bridge so the other half would raise (lowering the previous half).
In the first house I found the watcher. He asked for a present to allow the Youkols to cross. He requested vodka. He also stated that an incantation needed to be recited. After going back, the customs officer ran away. I was able then to explore his office. I first needed to get something to break the glass on the door. I found a brick (35:36) that was being used on the customs officers bike to prop it up.
Once inside I found customs papers and alcohol. Now I had to recite the prayer. I spoke to Ayawaska who said I needed to make smoke signal. I then found Aywaskas staff in her box of tricks, this had some colourful symbols on it. I tried to operate the Oven again to send a smoke signal but I felt like something was missing. So I first decided to send the Alcohol to the Watcher on the zip line. The watcher sent back a full cart. I took one of the items from it which was sawdust (49:00). I went back to the oven again and first figured out that the draws needed sawdust in them . Next I was able to use the staff on the centre of the oven. I could now clearly see the symbols on it. They were related to the shapes of the funnels and the colours of the resin to be used. Red spiral, blue squiggle, blue eight symbol, and a yellow circle.
At the last moment in the video I found that I could used the round resin on the tree stump.
