Syberia 3 (PS4) - skip changing clothes (wasted potential)
Near the start of the game, Kate wakes up in a hospital in a pyjama and is soon forced to change back to regular clothes. However, you can skip this and instead continue playing the level in the ultimate casual attire, the pyjama... at least for a little while longer.
---
0:00 - first, a technique: if you run towards a certain type of tight corner and open the PS4-menu, Kate will sink much deeper into it than normally possible. In at least one point in the game - in the doctor's office - this allows you to go inside collision.
0:23 - so, after you talk to the doctor for the first time, he goes standing in the doorway to prevent Kate from leaving until she changes clothes. Using the newly opened door and the aforementioned technique, you can go around the doctor and skip changing clothes. In a perfect world, this would be a 1+ minute timesave for speedruns.
0:32 - if you walk back into the doorway from the wrong side, this may cause a camera glitch where the camera shows the inside of the room while you're outside.
0:50 - the next objective is available even though the game doesn't even direct you towards it yet. You can go to the elevator and attempt to open it with the key like usual.
As a side effect from never having changed clothes, Kate's model seemingly alternates between wearing a pyjama and regular clothing.
1:57 - it's not on the video, but Kurk refuses to talk to Kate about anything important until you have changed clothes. In other words, not changing clothes makes you miss an important trigger and you become stuck in the game.
As a bonus, the dialogue prompt for the doctor is still in his office, even though he already went elsewhere, resulting in a classic "invisible man" scenario.
2:15 - the prompt to change clothes still exists, so you can go do that out of order. Afterwards you get another talk prompt with the absentee doctor.
2:45 - sadly, changing clothes at this point doesn't fix the damage you've already caused with your reckless sequence breaking! The game is now unwinnable.
The objective has reverted back to "use the key", but Kate refuses to use the key to the elevator because you already used it. Meanwhile, Kurk still refuses to talk to Kate about anything important. I can't tell with 100% certainty, but to me it seemed like these circumstances made it impossible to continue the main quest line.
