It's possible to skip the rooftop battles and some running with some precise shootdodges. Should save 20 seconds or more if you get it the first try.

There are a few other ways in the area to get to the roof and perform this skip as well (like sky jumping), but this is the fastest and cleanest method I've found so far.

I haven't tested this trick enough to know if it's 100% reliable to do in speedruns. Should work in Individual Level, if nothing else.

0:13 - climb this ventilation box with Max and then take a step forward and to the right. Crouch. Aim at the right edge of the green pipe. Shootdodge forward. Hope you land on the pipe.

0:28 - this railing is a tad high, but it's possible to get across with a well-placed shootdodge. This lands Max right next to the stairs to the level exit.
