Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror Walkthrough Part 3: Ancient History
Following the mission in Alaska, Gabe, Lian, Teresa Lipan and Lawrence Mujari analyze the data disc secured by Gabe, discovering that KemSynth was conducting an research into something refered to as "Dark Mirror" with analysis of the plants grown in the company's oil rafinery confirming that they were genetically spliced with unknown material. IPCA also discovers that Kreisler has used the plants shipped from KemSynth's botanic department near the city of Iquitos, Peru, whose security is ran by Addison Hargrove, ex-Agency operative and Gabe's former lover who left him upon leaving the Agency a year after Gabe started working for them. With IPCA having figured out a connection between KemSynth's Dark Mirror project and the plants grown in Peru, Gabe is sent to Iquitos in order to make contact with Hargrove and find the connection between KemSynth's research in Alaska and the plants. However, his mission is made significantly more complicated by Red Section which has started to fund the local paramilitary organization as the cover for their own activities in the area, which are led by two Red Section operatives codenamed Black Viper and White Scorpion. Upon inserting into the area, Gabe discovers that Peruvian paramilitaries and their Red Section allies have captured Hargrove and are interrogating her, having already killed the rest of KemSynth's security force. However, Gabe rescues her, killing Black Viper who was interrogating her with Hargrove revealing that she and her team have collected the plants for KemSynth's project with the collected material apparently being stashed in nearby compound. However, as they get there and kill White Scorpion, Gabe and Hargrove discover the materials and majority of the files missing, forcing the two to leave the area...
