Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror Walkthrough Part 7: Singularity (FINAL MISSION & ENDING)
3Following the events in Germany and Touchstone's death, IPCA is able to discover the identity of Red Section's leader and mastermind behind the Dark Mirror conspiracy, revealing that Singularity is in fact Grant Morrill, ex-financial analyst who worked for Interpol before defecting five years prior and creating Red Section as his personal private army and terrorist organization, initially using the money and equipment embezzled from Interpol in order to acquire AIT, Finnish weapons firm which was turned into Red Section's main front and whose main R&D facility in Helsinki serves as the organization's main headquarters. Having discovered that, Gabe and Lian infiltrate the facility, intent on killing Singularity in order to destroy Red Section and rescue Blake, who is still in the organization's custody. After fighting their way into the facility, facing numerous heavily armed Red Section forces, including those fielding extremely advanced electromagnetic combat armor capable of deflecting any bullets and explosives as long as it is active, Gabe and Lian manage to find and rescue Blake as Red Section forces attempt to kill her via drowning with Gabe leaving the girl with Lian as he heads deeper into facility in order to find Singularity, who has managed to hack into his communication channel, using the opportunity to taunt him with failures and betrayals he has endured over the course of his career, both within the old Agency and IPCA. Eventually, Gabe reaches the subway tunnel below the facility where he faces Singularity, armed with the electromagnetic armor and backed up by the last of his men, in an shootout which he wins. As two men confront each other for the last time, Singularity claims himself and project Dark Mirror to be a "dark reflection" of Gabe himself due to being aware of his past with enraged Gabe proceeding to kill Singularity by throwing him into the path of an oncoming subway train just before Lian and Blake arrive, with Gabe discovering that Lian told Blake about her mother's death. Later, in IPCA headquarters, Gabe discovers that Mujari's full analysis of the plants used in project Dark Mirror revealed them to have been cross-bred to emit extremely potent nerve agent, revealing that KemSynth was developing an biological weapon and explaining Red Section's desire to acquire it, with the small ammount they were able to reverse-engineer using the data secured in Alaska and Peru apparently being enough to allow them to kill half of Europe.
A week after the events in Helsinki and downfall of Red Section, Gabe arrives to the military graveyard in Arlington, Virginia in order to pay his respects to Hargrove. However, while there, Hargrove approaches him, revealing that she faked her death following her struggle with Touchstone. However, before she is able to explain her actions, Blake enters the mausoleum, revealing that Hargrove reunited with her soon after the events in Helsinki. As they talk, Gabe commends Blake for the bravery shown in AIT headquarters, calling her "the bravest 10-year old the world had ever seen" with Blake revealing that she is actually 12 years old before Hargrove sends her back to their car. Aware that Hargrove left the Agency twelve years prior while they were still lovers, Gabe prepares to head after Blake to tell her that he is her father, only for Hargrove to stop him, explaining that she left the Agency in order to protect Blake from the danger she'd be exposed of as the daughter of black operatives but is aware that Gabe would never leave his job for his family. Coming to terms with the fact that he'll never be able to settle down with his family while still controlling and working for IPCA, Gabe solemnly watches on as Hargrove and Blake drive away from the graveyard.
