T7 (Hard Demon Layout) by DiceGames (me) || Geometry Dash [v2.2]

Hey all! Welcome to my first 2.2 layout! Had a lot of fun putting this one together, was a very fun process. I really loved tinkering with all the new 2.2 editor features, and basically used this layout to get used to how it works. It definitely is a learning curve (and I still have a lot to learn, especially with shader usage), but it was well worth the wait. This layout was made fully in 3 days from start to finish, on mobile. I got inspired once the music artist F-777 was added to the Music Library in game, and over 400+ songs of his were added. I found out about F-777 from the flash game "Run 3", which I got into in 2014/15, back when it was popular in school. The gameplay revolves around running through tunnels in space, and travelling the galaxy of tunnels as a platforming alien. Near the "end" of the game, a level called "T-7" exists, where a Wormhole appears, marking the end of the story. I remember I was one of the first in my class to complete that level, as it also is probably the hardest in the game (also my favorite level in the game).
Fast forward to 2017 to when I got introduced to GD, I learned that F-777 made a lot of music used in levels like Sonic Wave, Deadlocked, Supersonic, and more. When I learned that, I remembered I tried to use one of my favorite Run songs to make a level in GD, specifically "Wormhole To Somewhere" (a track which I talked about in my 2018 favorite VGM tracks video). However, I realized that it was not on Newgrounds, and therefore couldn't make a level with it (I didn't understand the concept of NONG songs at the time). When I learned about the fact that Wormhole To Somewhere was added to the Music Library, I got a huge boost of motivation to make a level inspired by Run 3 and T7, using the song. I think so far, this is one of my most successful layouts, and is super fun to go through. I really hope you guys enjoy playing this layout, and thank you for tuning in (and reading this far if so)!
Also, T7 is not the only layout I've been working on since 2.2 released. I actually have THREE other layouts in progress that are all finished, but need to be polished, fixed, recorded, and verified. I cannot wait to premiere them to you soon, as I feel very strongly that they present a lot of fun ideas and gameplay concepts!
