If you want to fight in this mode, press A and Right.
This new Hubert is a huge graphical improvement over the older ones, and it's rebalanced too. Leon and Ecarlate Rebirth have made a pretty good job.
Well, now onto the Story Mode. You will fight Mary (I changed her file for Kyle's), Guy, Judith (I changed her file for Asch's), Klarth, Regal, Max, Chat & Race and finally Hilda (I changed her file for Judas'). You recover some HP and OVL when you defeat someone, but it's still a good challenge.
I got pretty lucky because Kyle's SP system drained ALL the enemies' TP! I cleared it twice before recording and it's the first time it happened. It made the fight MUCH easier.
You can also use the "Mystic Arte glitch" to recover HP/OVL in a tight spot. If you use a Mystic Arte, it might target a KO character (from my experience, Guy is targeted more often than other characters) and you will defeat it again recovering HP/OVL in the process!
You have to look out for Max, Chat & Race as they're by far the most annoying foes, the rest are more manageable.
