As today is the day of my birthday, I decided to upload my first TAS demo. Recently i've been super busy with exams to the point I rarely ever get a chance to play doom or record demos. I'm very sorry uploads have been recently slow but I promise that at some point after the exams are done, things will gradually pick up.

Crumpets 2 has to have been one of my favourite WADs I have maxed this year, the maps were well crafted and as per usual, Ribbiks blows my mind with his set encounters and architecture within these maps. It was definitely a highlight of my year when it comes to doom, especially as it showed how far I had progressed with skill. It has led me to find a new method of practicing, which has then led me to become more threatening as a whole with demos.

What surprised me the most about doing a tool assisted demo was that my map03 was slower than my submitted time of 2:11. It's kinda wild how lucky I must have got in order to get a time like that.

I would have done a non TAS demo if it weren't for the fact map07 is an absolute killer to beat. the final fight in the map can be excruciating, there's not a lot of health to spare so you have to be careful on how much damage you take. It's also really easy to get cornered so you kinda just have to hope for gaps in the crowds.

Overall, Crumpets 2 is beautiful. I'm so glad to have the privilege of playing this and I would absolutely revisit it in the future to clear up some gaps. I'm mainly referring to getting sub 2 on map02 and beating map07 saveless (which is possible to do in roughly 9 minutes).
