I'm happy to announce that the lag problem was just an issue with the v0.26.2 port, since v0.27.5 runs even better than the old version I used. Gladly I am now able to record demos and publish them to the DSDA, D0M0 is saved afterall.
In terms of sourceports, v0.24.3 for the mac build was extremely buggy, and yet it had only come to my attention recently. There's a big issue where you can disable the wipescreen effect, which you shouldn't be able to do. I have been doing my demos for 2 years with that feature "disabled" and it has most likely been the root cause of why my demos are desyncing. Luckily I can test the old recorded demos on the new version, just to test whether there has been anymore desyncing.
Anyway, onto the map. I don't really have much to say about it. It's a slaughtermap that has a tough start of weaving through enemies and projectiles in order to get to the BFG and plentiful of health and ammo near the end of the map. Once you get there, you've basically beaten the map. It didn't take me too long to get my demo, and tbh I could've maybe improved it significantly. I did get pretty decent infighting in this attempt afterall.
However, I will not be doing so, as there is one more map from the Frog and Toad set that I have already beaten and want to present to you all. This therefore also means that I will only be doing 3/10 of the maps for Frog and Toad (for now at least...)
