Taskkill /IM WINWORD.EXE
IM means image name.
1. Use properties of target shortcut to see IM.
2. Copy IM. For example in Microsoft Word “WINWORD.EXE”
3. Open up command prompt.
4. Open up program if program is not open yet.
5. Type in command “Taskkill /IM WINWORD.EXE”
CMD should show “SUCCESS” and program will close.
This video is based on my personal experience with Command Prompt. Please be careful and use at you own risk.
