TearRing Saga Minimum Recruitment LTC - Chapters 38 & 39
5Chapter 38 is a kill the boss and reach the exit map. Holmes is starting 47 tiles away from the exit, so he can reach it by turn 4, with 1 tile to spare. Shigen has a fixed and awful starting position, where he can do almost nothing to help Holmes. This leaves me with 4 units who can actually kill things: Bartz, Sasha, Zachariah, and Shirou who can barely kill a harpy.
Given the level layout and enemies starting position, I needed a 7 move 1-2 range unit. Apart from the unrealistic Levin Sword swordmasters, I only have 2 units who can fit this criteria, Raffin and Bartz. Since Raffin is better abusing the Salia Spear with Runan, this left me with Bartz, which is why he got some training and was promoted. He must in particular clear the enemies in the final room, where his accuracy isn't perfect, but this is compensated by his Wrath skill.
Zachariah can use the Lukuud thanks to his high base stats, which allows him to clear the two dracozombies which otherwise would have pose issues, and Sasha can clean the leftovers with her Levin Sword. I stole the Ifrit tome for fun, as I believe it's the only one you can get in the whole game.
Chapter 39 is a simple boss kill with 4 units deployed in the closest room from the boss. Despite his Silver Shield, Zieg can be killed by Salia Spear!Raffin with a single crit out of 4 attacks.
